Set for Success is a 3-day virtual event for ambitious wedding photographers who want to make more money, book more weddings and work less in 2025.
My goal is to create an empowering, waffle-free, tangible and practical experience that gives wedding photographers the headspace, support and tools to get their business Set for Success in 2025.
And I’d love for you to be a part of it.

SPEAKER REQUEST
As a speaker at the Set for Success Summit, you’ll be asked for;
PRE-RECORDED PRESENTATION
A 25 minute pre-recorded presentation filled with practical, tangible advice attendees can implement right away.
INTERVIEW OR BONUS CONTENT
Additionally, you can contribute a short but detailed interview showing the behind the scenes of your business, or a freebie or bonus content to the Success Kit.
PROMOTION
Cross promotion and spreading the word is key to everyone’s success. How much you promote is up to you, but the more people who attend – the better for us all.

Hi, hello, I'm Micaela!
I’m a wedding photographer & educator in Scotland, and after coming back from maternity leave I’ve felt a bit lost, and I know I’m not the only one…
So essentially, I‘m creating the event I would want to attend in 2025, and if I’ve reached out to you, it’s because I genuinely think you’ve got something incredibly helpful to share with other wedding photographers and creatives.
Some other bits of info to inspire confidence (especially if you’ve never heard of me before)… I’ve been a wedding photographer for 10 years, ran a corporate gifting company, have organised multiple in person events, and am really focused on crafting an amazing experience for attendees and speakers.

How Everything Will Work
WHEN, WHERE AND HOW
Let’s get into some details. Here’s how the Set for Success Summit will work.
The Summit will run from 10-12 February 2024. Presentations will be pre-recorded, 25-minutes in length, and can include promotion of you, and your related freebie.
NO LIVE PRESENTATIONS
I know you’re busy, so there won’t be a scheduled live component for this event. Instead, there will be a dedicated thread for each presentation in the attendee Facebook group.
This is where they’ll go to ask questions and let you know how much they loved your talk! It would be really helpful if you check in once or twice during the time period that your presentation is live if you’re available.
It’s a great chance to engage with the attendees, answer simple questions, and point them to additional resources you have.
PROMOTION OF THE SUMMIT
Leading up to the summit, there will be four weeks of promotion. I’ll be running plenty of ads, working with wedding industry podcasts and communities to spread the word, but would love to have your support spreading the word.
I’ll provide swipe copy and graphics to make it all easy.
Each speaker is asked to promote at least once via email and once on social media to ensure everyone benefits, but anything above and beyond that is totally up to you, your goals with affiliate commissions, and how much you’d like to support the event.
PROMOTION OF THE EXTENDED ACCESS PASS & THE SUMMIT SUCCESS KIT
During the promotion phase and as the summit is running, we’ll promote the Extended Access Pass and the Success Kit.
The Extended Access Pass includes 12 month access to the presentations, a private podcast feed of the presentations, notes and action steps for each presentation (which will be created for you based on your presentation).
The Success Kit will include;
1. Everything from the Extended Access Pass
2. Goodie Bag: Any additional bonuses that speakers want to include. That could be freebies, extra resources, free month membership etc…
3. Behind The Business Speaker Interviews: In addition to your presentation, I’d love to interview speakers about the reality of the numbers in your business. The goal of our summit is to provide motivation but transparency with real insights. We’ll have a chat about your enquiries, bookings, conversion rates, package prices etc. You only need to answer what you’re comfortable with. (If you’ve ever listened to How I Built This by Guy Raz – you’ll understand the format).
4. Photography Expansion Pack: These are short interviews with photographers outside of weddings in case anyone is looking for inspiration and advice on how to expand their business.
5. How I Got Here Case Studies: Real interviews with real photographers and videographers on how they increased or built their business. Focusing on going viral on TikTok, booking weddings without social media, branching out into luxury weddings etc..
These additional resources will provide immense value to the attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions and additional email addresses. Woop!
What I'll Ask of You
This all sounds great, but what do I need from you? Let’s chat about it!
My goal is to make everything easy so we can all enjoy the event while providing immense value and growing our businesses.
1. BASIC INFORMATION
First, I’ll gather some basic information from you so we can finalize the registration page and show you off on the speakers page.
Once you let me know you’re in, I’ll send a form where you can upload this information easily.
2. YOUR PRESENTATION
Your presentation should be a 25 minute pre-recorded presentation where attendees can learn something valuable, feel encouraged, and have fun in the process.
Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away having really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they’re missing something important.
You have your choice of the following presentation formats, based on what works best for you and your topic:
- Slides
- You talking to the camera
- A mixture of the two
You are free to use your presentation however you’d like once the summit has concluded.
Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:
- A good hook to make attendees want to continue watching
- A quick introduction to you
- Teaching section
- 1-3 specific action steps attendees can take
- Up to a 2-minute freebie pitch
Presentations are due by 15 January 2025.
3. SUCCESS KIT CONTRIBUTION
All presentations are free to watch for 24 hours for all attendees. But in addition to these, there are two upgrade offers.
The Success Kit offers an opportunity for you to provide more exclusive content for those that upgrade.
You’ve got two options, and you’re welcome to do just one or both.
1. Behind the Business Interview
Only available to those that upgrade their ticket to the Success Kit. Before the 20th January, we’ll have a zoom interview where we go behind your business into the real numbers. Designed to provide transparency and motivation to attendees, we’ll talk conversion rates, enquiry sources, revenue, packages and all things numbers. (You only need to share things you’re comfortable sharing).
2. The Goodie Bag
To make the Success Kit even more valuable and to give you an additional way to share your content and collect attendee email addresses, I encourage you to provide a resource to add.
This includes things like:
- Templates (most popular with attendees)
- Trainings and workshops
- Workbooks
- Courses (big or small)
- 1-month memberships
- eBooks
(Note: We do not recommend any type of 1:1 contribution)
VIEW THE SPEAKER CONTRIBUTION GUIDE HERE
While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate. It’s a great way to collect hundreds of additional email addresses as attendees will provide their information to claim your bonus) and it makes it easier to promote since your audience will want what you’ve included. I’ll also increase your affiliate commission to 50% as an extra thank you.
Please note that I WILL NOT be sharing attendee addresses with you directly. You will make an offer or provide something exclusively for those who upgrade to the Success Kit. If they wish to take you up on that offer – they will be able to do so within your own platform.
I’d love information about your bonus as soon as you’re able to provide it, but it is not due until 5 January 2025. You’ll receive a questionnaire to fill out to make it easy.
Please note that attendees will be able to begin claiming resources as soon as the summit opens on February 10th 2025.
4. PROMOTION
The power of a virtual summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.
We can’t get any of our speakers results above what we’d do on our own if no one shares.
To ensure this event is beneficial to all, speakers are asked to send a minimum of one email about the event and post at least once on social media during the promotion period, starting on January 10th.
You’ll want to share using your affiliate link so you can get in on the 40-50% commission that will come from any sale of the summit upgrades and the additional commissions that come from purchase of our products afterward.
If you choose to contribute a bonus to the Summit to Course Launch Kit, your commission will increase from 40% to 50%. Yay!
You’ll find swipe copy and graphics in the Resource Vault below to make it easy.
Do NOT edit the affiliate link Kajabi gives you or update to the prettier version of the link you get by pasting it into your browser and hitting enter. Anything other than the link given will not track your referrals. You can create a pretty link that leads to the original link given by Kajabi with something like the Pretty Links plugin or bit.ly.
I am also happy to collaborate to help you promote. For example, I can take over your Instagram stories, come on your podcast, write a guest newsletter, or do a live in your Facebook group (all with your affiliate link) to help you get some extra conversions!
5. LOW-KEY PARTICIPATION
And lastly comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax!
All we ask is that you pop in to check on the thread in the Facebook group related to your presentation during the time that it’s live if you’re available. Easy!
Affiliate Details
AFFILIATES
While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?
That’s exactly why we’ve set up an affiliate program where you’ll receive a commission from all sales you refer to the event.
AFFILIATE COMMISIONS & PRICING STRUCTURE
The commission structure is as follows:
- 40% for all speakers
- 50% for all speakers who include a Goodie Bag bonus or are interviewed as part of the Behind the Business Interview
The pricing structure of the summit will be;
Extended Access Pass
- $47 until midnight GMT on the 9th Feb (it used to be 30-minutes after initial Free Ticket opt-in)
- $67 from 10 February to 15th February.
- $107 from 15th February onwards.
(GBP conversions are roughly £38, £55 and £87)
The Success Kit
- $97 until midnight GMT on the 9th Feb (it used to be 30-minutes after initial Free Ticket opt-in)
- $157 from 10 February to 15th February.
- $207 from 15th February onwards.
(GBP conversions are roughly £78, £128 and £168)
PROMOTION OF THE SUMMIT
To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the resource section will include things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics.
However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own ads.
I am also willing to take over your Instagram stories, do a podcast interview, write a guest newsletter, or do a live in your Facebook group (all with your affiliate link) to help you get some extra conversions!
